About Us

Cardinal Kids is a warm and loving environment where children can feel comfortable and learn. We believe that every child has many strengths. It is our job to figure out how to encourage growth through these strengths, as well as provide a safe and nurturing environment in which to do so.

We specialize in the evaluation and treatment of children with a variety of diagnoses and/or disorders, including ADHD/ADD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Brain Injury, Down Syndrome, Developmental Delays, Sensory Processing Disorders, Auditory Processing Disorders, Nonverbal Learning Disorders, Visual Perceptual/Motor Delays, Praxis Difficulties, Fine Motor Delays and Handwriting Challenges.

We are most passionate about children and Sensory Processing. Many of our therapists are SIPT (Sensory Integration and Praxis Test) certified. Along with being able to perform this critical assessment, we also have a strong foundation in Sensory Integration theory and treatment. We incorporate many other treatment methods and programs into our practice. We consider ourselves life-long learners and continued education is an important part of our practice.

Our Team

Natalie Bruno, OTR/L, SIPT, CTP, Owner

About Cardinal Kids Therapy Natalie is a nationally board certified occupational therapist and is licensed by the state of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She earned her degree in occupational therapy from Temple University in 2001. She specializes in Dr. Jean Ayres’ Sensory Integration Theory and is Sensory Integration and Praxis Test Certified. She has a passion for sound therapy and the potential impact that modified music has on the brain and it’s integration with the rest of the body. Her focus is keeping up to date on the latest treatment techniques by attending several conferences each year and communicating with other practitioners from all over the world. It has been a life long dream, to own a private practice and share knowledge and hope with families of children with various needs.

She is certified in the following: Tomatis®, Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration – MNRI®, Rhythmic Movement Training – RMT, Interactive Metronome®, Integrated Listening Systems – iLs® and has attended over 30 other trainings and continuing education courses. She had extensive one on one mentoring, early in her career, in evaluation processes, treatment approaches and staff and student trainings. She has 15 years of experience working with children with Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism, Learning Disabilities, Auditory Processing Disorder, Brain Injury, Praxis and handwriting difficulties.

She lives in Cherry Hill and is married with 2 children, 7 and 9 years old.

Brooke Yarnal, MSOTR/L

About Cardinal Kids Therapy Brooke is a nationally board certified occupational therapist and is licensed by the state of New Jersey. She earned her master’s degree in occupational therapy from Misericordia University in 2002. She has also earned a specialized certification in pediatric occupational therapy from Misericordia University in 2010. She has over 13 years experience working with children with varying disabilities from birth to 21 years of age. She has worked in a variety of settings, including early intervention, private and public schools, home-based therapy, and clinical settings. She has experience working with children with a wide variety of diagnoses, including ADD/ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder, Ocular Motor disorders, coordination disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Having had a sister with a disability has created a lifelong desire to help children and their families through education and intervention.

Sara Eisenhuth, OTR/L

About Cardinal Kids Therapy Sara is a nationally board certified occupational therapist and is licensed by the state of New Jersey. She earned her bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from Elizabethtown College in 2004 after completing her pediatric affiliation at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She has almost 12 years of experience working with children with varying disabilities from birth to 21 years of age. She has worked in a variety of settings, including early intervention, private and public schools, home-based therapy, and clinical settings. She has experience working with children with a wide variety of diagnoses, including ADD/ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder, Ocular Motor disorders, coordination disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Sara has attended a variety of courses and is certified in the Handwriting without Tears Program and Interactive Metronome.
